Christmas present for my girls

It's that time of the year again! This year, I decided to give my girls a present. It took awhile to prepare and it's finally ready~ Well, it's not quite done but it's presentable.

EOY 2013 Doll Display

EOY 2013 was just this past Sunday and there was a doll display.

Raili's my very first daughter and she's been with me since last July. Never occurred to me to check her birthday till earlier this year and... December 18th is her birthday! So, this time we had a simple celebration.

Raili goes to IKEA

Recently, I went to IKEA to look for some stuff and I decided to take Raili along with me. We arrived in the morning, at around 10am, skies were gloomy and it was raining. So, we hurried inside and walked around.

I bought three neiko meido outfits, one for each of my PN girls.

The pink one is for Kobato, black for Nyaruko and blue for Raili.

You know how there are some items that you see and you know you must definitely get? These were such items. The only thing was choosing colours that matched the girls.

[Griffon Enterprises] 1/1 Yui Pixie

I first saw this a couple of months back an amiami's home page with the title 'Sword Art Online - Yui 1/1 Complete Figure' and I was like: "OMMIGOSH! there's a 1/1 to figure of Yui?!?!?!". Then logic kicked in. That and I saw the thumbnail & price to realise that the Yui they were referring to the ALO navigation pixie version.

At the start I wasn't too sure whether I wanted to get Yui because frankly speaking, I didn't find the thumbnails to be very appealing. In the end (as you can see), I decided to just go for it. After all, it is Yui and she's my favourite character of the series and this was the first (and only) figure of Yui.

How it began for me

Hi guys! I've been wanting to write this for some time but never got down to it and now here it is. As I see all the figures that we are planning to add from Wonderfest to each of our collections, it's nice to think about how I started in the first place.

[Figuarts ZERO] Cure Peace

I wasn't planning to do one of Figuart Zero's Cure Peace but since someone had asked for pictures, I might as well do a short write-up.

Exclusives

This is going to be a little bit of a rant...

Exclusives are... Really irritating. Take the S.H. Figuarts Cure Beauty for example.

She costs 4,410 yen. Compare that to Cure Happy at 3,210 yen and Cure Peace at 3,080 yen, she's already more expensive. But that's not even the problem, fine, they want to earn more then so be it. But because she's not available on sites like amiami, I have to get from local shops which probably get from their proxies/suppliers which just results in higher price for me. =( How much? At a cost of S$108. 4,410 yen roughly converts to S$55 with shipping would be around $70-80. But because I like Beauty a lot and also I want to complete the set, I've got no choice but to suck it up.

I know it isn't something new but just felt like sharing my helplessness. How about you? You ever had any figures that were exclusives that you wanted? Did you give up on it cause of the high(er) price or just bite the bullet?
