[Alter] Majyokko Miracle-n (Yoshikawa Chinatsu)

Yay! Another figure! This time it's Chinatsu from Yuru Yuri. Remember when I said I've been busy? This what I mean... Chinatsu arrived a couple of months ago...

In any case, I can't really recall when she cosplayed this outfit... Well, doesn't matter..

*Peace* This is a very "cosplay pose & expression" that I find cute and adorable. Not to mention it's photogenic. Compared to the pictures on amiami, the blush on her face is very much more pronounce here (and on the actual figure). Does seem to steer it a bit away from looking natural. Then again, it could be a result of the difference in photo editing since the hair is somewhat lighter. Speaking of hair, I think it's done slightly differently from what you see in the anime. The anime gives the feeling of puffiness that can absorb lots of table tennis balls, this feels like straw.

There is something else that I find a bit weird about her face, namely that it seems rather flat.

Look at that hat, the creases and folds are all in the right place.

She's bent pretty far back. Can only hope that she doesn't deform over time.

Chinatsu's outfit. Cute. In fact, it doesn't look like a "magical girl" outfit and is probably what girls wear out. So, with the exception of he hat and the wand (coming up), would be tough to see this as a "magical girl" cosplay. But that's the character design (of the character within the anime).

Just a little sparkle to add a magical feel. As always, I generally prefer if there are words/names on the base, it be of the character. But I can't recall whether that's the name of the character or the name of anime (within the anime).

Here are the accessories. If you're wondering, yes, I forgot about them at the start.

What Chinatsu looks like with her wand.

At first you might think it's a mirror, but that's just cause the surface is very reflective.

And so this is what it should look like to the naked eye. This wand reminds me a lot of Cardcaptor Sakura's wand.

The alternative to that wand is the "spinning" version.

Interesting... Though her hand/fingers don't give the impression that she's spinning the wand but you won't really see her hand/fingers so it doesn't matter.

Which of the wands would you use? Personally, when it comes to optional parts for figures, I tend to like to use the parts that are fancier or that allow me to use as many optional parts as possible.

Overall, this figure suffers from no noticeable defects. Her pose & expression make for great photo shoot opportunities and is generally a beautiful figure. I just wished her twin tails resemble the anime version more and also hope that she maintains her pose without future drooping in the future... Another consideration would be the lack of any sets. Whether that's a plus or minus is dependent on your collecting style. Former would be that you don't have to spend a lot of money to complete a set and minus would generally be that she feels quite lonely in the display cabinet. (p.s. I know that there's an Akari figure, I can't really say that the 2 of them form any part of a set since they aren't similar)
