[Stronger] 1/7 Kizuna AI A.I. Party! -Birthday with U-

Now you can proceed to slot the cake onto her hands and fix her onto the base. Now we focus on her face.

(Belated) Happy Birthday to Ai-chan!

Ai-chan's birthday was on 30th June but this figure just arrived last week so, while it's late we'll take a look at it.

At first, I wasn't too sure about getting this figure because I wasn't too familiar with the brand (Stronger). I looked at their history but there weren't that many figures and noticed that I did actually have a previous figure (Chino) by them and it's pretty well done so decided to just go for it.

Here are the front, sides and back of the box:

Once you open the box, you'll find these accessories inside;
Birthday cake with 4 candles and a base

Firstly, a closer look at the birthday cake.

Be careful when sticking the candles into the cake, you don't want to break them.

Cute birthday cake with Ai-chan's name there along with a chocolate happy birthday sign.

The smile and her eyes give you the sense of joy and that she's really enjoying her birthday.

Of course she would also have her signature hairband ribbon/bow and colourful striped hair

Speaking her hair, the stripes are painted without noticeable deviation which results in pretty clean lines

She also has a ribbon around her neck

Only noticeable gripe is that the cake doesn't go all the way down . Oh and remember to be careful not to break the pegs here as well. Her fingernails are very nicely painted on.

She has some more accessories on her arms and her wrists.

Along with this gold chain accessory on her waist.

Looking at her back she has a good amount of skin exposed there. Not complaining about this and she's wearing shorts underneath.
What do you call that piece of clothing covering her shorts?

Super painting

She also has this gold accessory around her thigh

Her shoes are nice combination of white, black and pink.
And a base with the name of the figure on it

In case you didn't catch it in the earlier picture, the base comes with a decent metal peg that should her Ai-chan for quite some time to come.

Design: 8/10
Quality: 10/10
Value: 7/10
Cost: 14,800 yen

First off, the figure isn't really that cheap considering the lack of intricacy. What you get in return is a figure that is of top notch quality. You get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed with this.

Side note, if you're going to spend 14,800 yen on an Ai-chan figure from Stronger, I feel that this birthday figure is definitely a much better value for money purchase than the "Hello World" version.

Just a comparison of what you get between the 2 figures, to me it doesn't make sense why they would be the same price and you're just paying an "exclusive" fee.

My only issue with the figure doesn't have to do with the figure itself. It's more to do with the timing of the release. I was hoping for it to be released in May/June and I could get it before her Birthday. It finally released in July and after a few weeks of being stuck at the post office, it finally shipped.

So, Ai-chan mini, what are your thoughts on this?

"Hai domo~"
